You may know this loop
- You've reminded your child about shoes several times before 7:45.
- The backpack is packed because you checked the list.
- You keep track of what homework is due — and when.
- You are the alarm, the calendar, and the memory.
These aren't signs that you've failed. They show where a routine depends on you. LighterLoop doesn't ask you to remove support — it helps you find one safe, realistic way to carry a little less.
Six parts of the load, made visible
About 15 minutes, then one thing at a time
What this is not
- Not a diagnosis, and not a test for your child. It does not assess them.
- Not a course. No modules or long videos.
- Not a replacement for medication, therapy, evaluation, or school accommodations.
- Not a reason to feel worse. The score describes a snapshot of routines and supports, not your worth.
LighterLoop is an educational self-assessment for parents. It is not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy, and it does not assess your child.
Questions
Who is this for?
Parents of kids roughly 6–13 who are navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, executive-function challenges, or an evaluation waitlist. The check focuses on the routines and support the parent is carrying.
Do you collect anything about my child?
No. The check asks about your routines and support choices — not your child's identity, diagnosis, or behavior. It never asks for a child's name, age, school, or photos.
Where do my answers go?
During the beta, your answers and results stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, locally saved results may be lost. To see whether the check is useful, we also keep anonymous counts — a visit, a check started, a check completed — with no identifiers and no third-party analytics.
How long does it take?
About 15 minutes for the full check. Your progress is saved in this browser as you go, so you can pause and come back.
How much does it cost?
It's free during the beta, with no account and no payment. If a paid version launches later, pricing and features will be shown clearly before any signup.
How is this different from the books and podcasts?
Books and podcasts share information. This check helps you notice which routines lean on you — then pick one thing to adjust.
Is there an app?
An iOS app is a later goal. The first version is the web check you can start right now.
